It was nice to see the three cygnets and watchful parent on the Windermere shore at Fellfoot, near New Bridge.
It was not so nice to see the plastic bottle beside them.
I had picked up two of the same kind nearby but had to wait for the swans to depart before retrieving the third for recycling.
Shame on whoever left them.
