A SPECIALLY-commissioned short film celebrating the Lake District National Park and its UNESCO world heritage status will be screened at Zeffirellis cinema, Ambleside, at 9.30am on Monday August 13.

The public screening of ‘Reflecting On The Lakes’ coincides with the national park's 67th birthday and a year since it became a World Heritage Site. It will be unveiled by Manchester-born writer and performance poet Tony Walsh who will read a poem about what it is like to live, work and love the national park.
