RED Arrows engineer Sgt Will Allen captured this stunning video as he flew over the Lake District this week.
The team of aerial performers were flying from Northern Ireland back to their base at RAF Scampton in Lincolnshire.
"It was the first time I’ve had the chance to fly over them and the experience was one of the highlights of the display season so far.," said Sgt Allen, leader of a team of engineers who fly around the world in the Red Arrows.
Circus engineers are each allocated to a specific pilot for the duration of the summer display season.
They fly in the passenger seat of the Hawk to and from display airfields and service the aircraft before and after every display
