DRUGS valued at more than £21,000 were seized by police in Cumbria following tip offs to Crimestoppers.
Calls to the crime-busting phoneline rose by more than 20 per cent in the last year - from 900 to 1,072 - a report by Cumbria's police and crime commissioner, Peter McCall, revealed.
Police chiefs say the calls have also helped retrieve stolen property as well as tackle other offences.
