CONCERNS have been raised over an application to turn a garage in Ulverston into a bed and breakfast.
Angus Duncan has applied to South Lakeland District Council for planning permission to change the use of the building, at a property in Old Hall Road, into overnight accommodation.
But Ulverston town councillor Colin Hodgson said he was unsure about the proposal.
He said that the plans did not specify clearly enough what the car parking situation would be, and he believed that this could lead to parking problems for neighbours.
After a discussion at this evening's meeting, the town council recommended to South Lakeland District Council that the application be refused.
