Bikes stolen from elderly couple

Comments (0)THIEVES stole cycles worth £500 from a camper van while the elderly owners were asleep inside the vehicle.
The incident occurred between 1.30pm and 3pm on Tuesday (April 22) while the van was parked in a layby on the A593 between Coniston and Ambleside.
The items taken were a green lady's pedal cycle and a Folde electric cycle.
Anyone with information is asked to call Windermere police on 0845-3300-247.
