AN ELECTRICITY pole has caught fire in South Lakeland.
Fire fighters from Coniston extinguished the blaze, at 9.36am this morning, after workers from United Utilities isolated the pole, in Haws Bank, from the electricity supply.
Fire fighters were able to return to Coniston at 11.24am.
