COUNCILLOR Anita Benson is the new mayor of Grange-over-Sands, succeeding Coun Robert Leach in the role.
She was unanimously elected at Grange Town Council's annual meeting, held in the Victoria Hall council chamber tonight (Monday). Coun Jane Strawbridge was elected the new deputy mayor.
