HUNDREDS of women will enjoy a moonlit stroll to raise money for a worthwhile cause on Friday.
The Walk to Remember has been organised for St Mary's Hospice, which has a centre in Ulverston, and more than 550 women - all dressed in pink - will be walking seven and a half miles.
Organiser Zoe Guest said: "Last year more than 400 ladies took part in this unique and fun way to support the hospice.
"The walk was a huge success and a staggering £30,000 was raised to help the hospice to continue to provide palliative and supportive care for patients in South Cumbria.
"It is hoped that this year that amount could be exceeded."
The walk starts at 10pm from Asda, in Barrow.
