WORK-outs are not just for adults struggling to fulfil their New Year's resolution to fight festive flab.
Cumbria County Council is rolling out an exercise programme for toddlers this year to help the county's youngsters keep fit, flexible and co-ordinated.
The Cumbria Sport's Partnership, Cumbria Early Years Development teams and Childcare Partnership are working together to run Top Tots'.
Childminders, nursery staff and parents are being trained to use this resource pack which aims to introduce physical activity to children aged between 18 months and three years in a fun way.
The Top Tots' pack will be available from libraries for parents to use and a professional youth sports trainer will be helping nurseries and others adopt the programme. Interested organisations should contact Cumbria Sport on 01228-606931.
