FITTING THE BILL: Residents across the borough had a chance to inspect the thin blue line for themselves when Bromley police threw their doors open to the public. The day was designed to raise awareness of the various operations in which police are involved. Visitors were given the chance to look at firearms, wander around the cells, take a look at the fingerprinting process and speak to officers. Heading the event, Inspector Paul Bather said: “This was a perfect opportunity to allow members of the public to take a closer look at our operations”
