A TALENTED young singer from Windermere features in a new album, out this month.
Georgia Train, 20, a student at the leading rock and roll music college, the Brighton Institute of Modern Music (BIMM), provides the vocals on Trust - one of the songs on ‘What’s inside your head? Volume One’.
The track, which Georgia recorded with the band Bitter Ruin, is one of 14 written and performed by students at the BIMM. Georgia was picked to perform on the album after taking part in a gruelling selection process judged by a professional music panel.
Sarah Clayman, former Sony international promotions manager and BIMM director, described her song as “slick, refined and super impressive” for a first release.
The album can be downloaded from www.itunes.com for £7.99 and proceeds will go to Nordoff-Robbins Music Therapy – a professional music therapy centre for adults and children with a wide range of needs in the UK and abroad.
