A WALKER has died after plummeting 150 feet from a popular Lake District path.
The man, who was walking with three companions, fell from the Jack’s Rake path, above Stickle Tarn, in Great Langdale, shortly before 10.55am today.
Police officers, members from Langdale and Ambleside Mountain Rescue teams, and crews from RAF Boulmer attempted to save the man, however he died at the scene.
