Bon Marche clothing store in the Westmorland Shopping Centre, Kendal, has raised £178 for Macmillan Cancer Support by going green.
Staff dressed all in green and sold badges to raise money. Clinton Cards donated green helium balloons and May’s Sweets of the indoor market donated a jar of green sweets for a raffle
Bon Marche manager, Chrissy Duffin, said: “The staff got behind this 100 per cent as they always do, and the support from the customers was fantastic, as you can see by the amount raised.”
