Harry Potter wove some magic at a Kendal restaurant last week helping make a little girl’s dream come true.

Actor Daniel Radcliffe, who plays the wizzard in the Harry Potter movies, made Deb Parry’s day when he signed an autograph for her daughter Madeleine, four, who is in love with Harry Potter.

More in this week's Gazette...

“My daughter, four, has a Harry Potter obsession,” said Deb Parry, an English teacher at The Queen Katherine School in Kendal, who spotted Radcliffe while out with friends at Paulo Gianni’s in Kendal last week.

“I knew I’d always regret it if I didn’t get his autograph for her.”

If you saw Daniel Radcliffe out and about in Kendal last Thursday (July 17)and have any stories or photographs you would like to share, please contact The Westmorland Gazette on 01539-710161 or email newsdesk@kendal.newsquest.co.uk.

An English treacher said "You’re going to be my future son-in-law" ??

Clearly he is or he isn't her future son-in-law - this cannot change.

She must have been REALLY flustered!
