Traffic accident near Appleby

A WOMAN was taken to hospital last night (August 28) following a road traffic accident in Burrels near Appleby.
The incident outside the Gatehouse in Burrels was reported to police at 7.30pm last night and involved a Rover and a silver Mitsubishi Coupe.
A 39-year-old man from Appleby and a 41-year-old man from Culgaith were treated for minor injuries at the scene. The 39-year-old female passenger from a Penrith was taken to Cumberland Infirmary with minor injuries.
