A MOUNTAIN bike worth £2,500 has been stolen from a South Lakeland caravan park.
A black four-month-old Marin Attack Trail mountain bike was pinched from outside a static caravan in Skelwith Fold Caravan Park, near Ambleside.
Distinguishing features include a black saddle with WTB in white letters written on it, Maxxis in yellow letters on the front tyre and Easton Monkey written on the handlebars.
The victim of the theft, who is from Cheshire, was visiting friends in the area.
