South Lakeland school achieves gold

A SOUTH Lakeland school’s teachers have been awarded gold by a prestigious standards body.
Witherslack Hall School, which teaches boys aged between 11 and 19 with behavioural difficulties, has become the first independent residential special school in the country to be awarded the Team-Teach Gold Standard award.
The Gold Standard award recognises best practice in terms of policy and procedure.
