POLICE detectives investigating drugs and money laundering crimes in South Cumbria have seized an imitation firearm and live ammunition in a series of raids.

Raids on a property in York Square, Ulverston, as well as four properties in Millom and a house in Haverigg, on Tuesday morning, revealed the weapon and ammunition. A lap top computer and financial documents were also seized.

No arrests were made and enquiries continue.
