Breaking news . . . M6 accident

ONE lane of the M6 motorway was closed this morning following an accident on the northbound carriageway in north Lancashire.
The accident, which occurred between J34 A683 (Lancaster) and J35 A601(M) Carnforth, affected the flow of traffic going north. However early reports indicated vehicles were generally coping well with the disruption.
