Peaks challenge walkers rescued

TWO walkers had to be rescued in the early hours of this morning after getting into difficulties while tackling the three peaks challenge.
Mountain rescuers from Wasdale spent three hours trying to find two men after they fell foul of the atrocious weather while tackling Scafell Pike.
The walkers were eventually found stranded near the top of Piers Gill.
A spokesman for the rescuers said too many people are trying to climb the fell without the right equipment.
