THREE work colleagues who lost their jobs have sprung into action by setting up their own business.
Tony Richardson, Mike Hine and Stephen Rigg took the bold step of becoming their own bosses within a week of being out of work.
The trio, who can call on 63 years of combined experience in their specialist field, formed Kendal Refrigeration Services in September.
They previously worked for electrical contractor RSR North West Ltd, also of Kendal, which went into voluntary liquidation some two months ago.
The three business partners decided within days of becoming out of work that they wanted to use their expertise in a new venture, and have invested their own money in getting it off the ground.
They install, maintain and repair refrigeration and air conditioning equipment in commercial and industrial premises, including factories, shops, hotels and restaurants.
