LATEST: Kendal's Gemma Miles and Sarah Tunstall both selected for GB team for Brussels.
. KENDAL AC's Gemma Miles put herself into contention for an international call-up when finishing a close-up sixth in the senior men's race at the McCain Cross Challenge in Liverpool on Saturday.
The former Coniston runner, was involved in a sprint to the line over the Sefton Park course to claim sixth, putting herself in the picture for selection for the European Championships in Brussels on December 4.
Her Kendal club colleague Sarah Tunstall was 12th and could be in the shake-up for the Under-23 team places.
