Smash blocks motorway lanes

A SMASH on the M6 has forced the closure of two lanes of traffic.
A silver Rover ZT car has collided with the central reservation, just north of junction 39, near Shap.
The incident, which happened around 11.30am today, has blocked two lanes of the northbound carriageway.
Police say no one was injured in the incident.
