Thieves pinch £1,200 mountain bike from outside pub

A £1,200 mountain bike has been pinched from outside a Furness pub.

A blue Marin East Peak was stolen from outside the Lord Nelson, in Chapel Street, Dalton, where it had been chained to a lamppost.

It was taken sometime between 7pm and 9.30pm on Wednesday.

Police are appealing for anyone with any information about the theft to call them on 0845 33 00 247.
