Kendal tax offices to close

Comments (0)TAX offices in Kendal, as well as those in Lancaster, Barrow and Penrith, are to close following an announcement made by HM Revenue and Customs.
The centres, including Eskdale House and Kentmere House, Kendal, will close before spring 2011, but Westmorland and Lonsdale MP Tim Farron says the HMRC has promised him there will be no compulsory redundancies.
