A KITCHEN knife marked with racist graffiti has been found next to a public footpath.
The item was discovered on banking between Burneside and Kendal, in the area of Carus Green golf club, yesterday morning (Thursday).
Racist graffiti was written on the blade in permanent marker.
Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 0845-3300247 or speak to their local neighbourhood police officer.
