BBC crews in Carnforth

YOUNGSTERS at Carnforth High School are to appear on a flagship BBC children’s programme.

Pupils from Carnforth High School tested out the latest developments in mobile phone technology with the help of a professor from Lancaster University.

Presenter Adam Fleming and a cameraman interviewed PhD student Andrew Greaves and children from Carnforth High School, who were invited to the University’s hi-tech InfoLab21 to test out his new projector phone.

Andrew Greaves has been researching mobile phones with an integrated projector, which are expected to come onto the market in the next few years. The phone gives users the ability to project pictures from photos, videos, maps or games directly onto any flat surface such as a wall or table.

Pupils from Carnforth High School projected images, games and photos onto a white screen while being filmed.
