KENDAL band British Sea Power will play at Morecambe Library this summer following the launch of their fourth album Man of Aran.
The indie rockers wrote the album as a soundtrack to the 1934 documentary Man of Aran, which chronicals daily life on the inhospitable Isle of Aran.
Directed by American filmmaker Robert J Flaherty, the film is being re-released on DVD along with the new BSP soundtrack.
Earlier this month the band performed the soundtrack live to the film at a special performance at BFI Southbank, in London.
Man of Aran is out now on Rough Trade Records.
The band will play Morecambe Library on August 7.
