A CONSERVATION organisation is appealing for unwanted moss in South Lakeland’s gardens.
The British Trust for Conservation Volunteers (BTCV) is creating a display garden at this month’s Royal Horticultural Show in Tatton Park, which takes place between July 22 and 26.
Kathy Collins, of BTCV, said: “The garden will be based on the landscape of the north west. We’re focusing on Cumbria and are looking for any local unwanted moss. "We will come and check it because it has to be a local type and we’re happy to remove it and take it away.”
