A TRADITIONAL cream tea is being served up in Kendal next week to bridge the gap between old and young residents.
Year 10 catering students at Kirkbie Kendal School are hosting a special social afternoon on Tuesday and have invited older people from the local area.
Guests will be entertained with music, bingo and a quiz, all performed by KKS pupils, and a delicious tea of sandwiches, scones and strawberries will be served.
The event, which takes place on Tuesday (July 7) at 4pm, is aimed at increasing community cohesion.
