POLICE are trying to trace a man who indecently exposed himself to an 80-year-old woman.
The woman was walking her dog along the Kendal cycle path that runs between Rinkfield and Burton Road when she heard noises and turned to see a man in the bushes exposing himself.
Officers said he made no attempt to cover himself and moved into the path to make sure he was seen.
The incident happened at around 12.40pm on Thursday (July 2).
The man is described as white, around 5ft 8” tall, of slim build.
He was wearing a grey hooded top and a black knee-length coat and wore the hood up. He concealed the bottom half of his face with something dark coloured.
Anyone who saw the male, who police said would have stood out as he was wearing such thick clothing on the hottest day of the year, is asked to contact Kendal police station on 0845 33 00 247.
