CAMERA crews descended on Eden last weekend to film a major stunt which will feature in a new BBC television series.
A mock up of a major road crash was captured near Appleby as part of the climax of Paradox - a thrilling drama series starring Tamzin Outhwaite, who plays a detective investigating crimes committed in the future.
Producer Marcus Wilson said: “We filmed in Appleby because we needed control over a railway line, and that location gave us the freedom to shoot the sequence in the most effective way, coupled with fantastic scenery that will look great in the finished programme.”
Filming is expected to finish in Manchester in September.
