A SPECIAL Ceilidh Taste of Scotland cruise has been organised to help raise funds for Children in Need.
Ullswater Steamers will hold a two-hour cruise where passengers will be entertained by the Eden Ceilidh Band, enjoy Scottish-themed canapés provided by the Inn on the Lake hotel, Ullswater, before washing it down with a dram of whisky thanks to tasting provided by Oddbins, of Kendal.
There are also plans for a Highland piper to welcome passengers aboard as well as a golden eagle from Silverband Falconry.
A fundraising raffle will help raise further money for the children’s charity with prizes including a horse riding experience, a fox walking experience and a luxurious Scottish hamper.
Tickets for the cruise, which will leave from Glenridding at 7pm on August 7, cost £7.50 and can be bought by calling 017684 82229.
