WANT to try karting but think it's too expensive?
Then think again, because Cumbria Kart Racing Club have launched a 'Let's Go Karting with Racing For Buttons' scheme to encourage new starters.
Based at the Rowrah Circuit in Cumbria, drivers get 10 laps of the full circuit for just £5.
The scheme includes:
• 10 laps of the full circuit – 1030 metres
• Full safety and awareness briefing prior to going on the circuit
• Try out karting – this is not a race
• Total cost £5.00 (The operator may charge a £20 damage waiver, refunded after completion of laps if no damage is caused by the driver)
• Open to ages 7 1/2 to 16 years. (older by arrangement)
• This scheme can be used up to 4 times per driver only
• Run on Monday nights – 5.30 – 8.00 (BST) and selected weekends
• Must be pre-booked – 1 week in advance
• Contact – 01229 463748 After completing the ‘Lets go Karting’ try out you can hire a kart for 1 hour.
The use will be a minimum of 4 x 10 minute sessions on the circuit for a cost of £20 and 1 x 5 litre unleaded fuel. (A deposit of £20 against damage will apply, refunded on completion of use if no damage to the equipment has been caused).
This operates on a Monday and Thursday evening and selected weekends.
