A KENDAL man has died of serious head injuries sustained while working at a South Lakeland building site.
Robert Moore, 56, of Oxenholme Road, was found slumped over his desk at the building site in Beetham Road, Milnthorpe, at around 6:35 pm on Thursday, 22 October.
He was found by colleagues and taken to Westmorland General Hospital before being moved to Preston Royal Infirmary where he remained in a coma.
He died last night.
Mr Moore’s wife, Diane, has paid tribute to her ‘loving husband.
“Robert was the devoted deeply loving husband of Diane, father to his daughter Lisa and a father figure to Chris, his son-in-law,” she said.
“He was a great son, brother and brother-in-law and a most popular family member.
“His larger than life character and fantastic sense of humour will be missed by all his family and his many, many friends and all his colleagues especially Pete and Lynne Tyson.”
