POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a gang of five allegedly attacked three young males in a Furness street.
The incident happened on October 31, in Marsh Street, Barrow, when two Carlisle teenagers, aged 15 and 17, and a local aged 20 were set upon by five other males, police say.
The 15-year-old and 17-year old were both left with facial injuries after being punched to the floor and then kicked.
The 20-year-old was struck in the face with a bottle and suffered "lacerations" to his nose.
Anyone with information, or who may have seen the incident, should contact Cumbria Police on 0845 3300247, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
