TWO teenagers from Kirkby Lonsdale are believed to have run away to Blackpool.
Police are growing increasingly concerned for the welfare of 15-year-old Robert Elkes and 16-year-old Conor Pick, who live at a school in Kirkby Lonsdale, after they failed to return to school following a lunch break more than a week ago.
They were last seen walking through the town at 1.30pm on November 20.
The pair have been in touch with staff at the school to say they were safe in the Blackpool area and promised to return, but have failed to come back.
Mr Elkes is described as 5’1” tall, of a slim build, with short light brown hair, brown eyes and a fair complexion. Mr Pick is 5'7" tall with cropped light brown hair, blue eyes, a fair complexion and of slim build.
He also has a tattoo on his left wrist reading 'mum'.
Police are appealing to anyone who thinks they have seen them to call 0845 33 00 247.
