Lorry blocks A6 north of Kendal

A JACKNIFED lorry has blocked a major road near Kendal.
The A6 is closed between Shap and Kendal due to the lorry which got into difficulties due to the poor weather conditions at around 2.40pm. Police say several other lorries are also stuck on the road.
No-one was hurt in the incident.
