WILDLIFE lovers are being encouraged to take part in the RSPB’s Big Garden Birdwatch this weekend (January 30 and 31).
Carolyn Jarvis, the RSPB’s people engagement manager for northern England, said: “By giving up just one hour of your day, you can make a real difference to our knowledge of garden birds. From the results we can tell the ones that are doing well from those that need our help.”
