A KENDAL shop window has been smashed after a car collided with roadworks.
The window of the Woodbridge and Mounsey painting and decorating supplies store, in Highgate, was put through this morning after a vehicle shunted metal railings into it.
It is the second misfortune to hit the store in recent weeks following the fire at neighbouring Conservative offices which also damaged the shop.
However, owner Grant Woodbridge, insisted they would be open again either Monday or Tuesday morning.
