POLICE have confirmed that the female victim of a fatal stabbing incident near Lancaster yesterday was from Ingleton.
Post mortem results have revealed that the 37-year-old died from a single stab wound to the chest.
A 43-year-old man, also from Ingleton, was arrested on suspicion of murder following the incident at around 8.30am at School House Lane, in Halton. He remains in police custody.
