British Sea Power to host mini-festival at Tan Hill

BRITISH Sea Power will return to the Yorkshire Dales this spring to host an exclusive mini-festival at Britain’s highest inn.

The Kendal band and pedallers of power indie will return to Tan Hill for Sing Ye From The Hillsides II, from Friday April 31 - Sunday May 2.

There are just 250 tickets available for the event which will go on sale at 9am tomorrow.

British Sea Power will play two live sets during the weekend and will be inviting special guests to play in the barn of the remote Dales pub.

Members of Arctic Monkeys, the Klaxons and Simian Mobile Disco turned up to the last Sing Ye From The Hillside event and organisers have promised more surprises this year.

BSP guitarist Noble said: “Where else in the world can you get to play to a few ducks and a sheep? The last time we played Tan Hill it was unforgettable.”

Tickets cost £75 available from: www.ticketline.co.uk.
