A FURNESS-based business is marking its 30th anniversary by re-launching under a new name.
In June, Colony Gift Corporation, the UK’s largest home fragrance manufacturer based at Lindal-in-Furness, will become Wax Lyrical, the name of one of its most popular product ranges.
The name change will mean that all the products, including the hugely successful Homescents, the world-famous Jelly Belly, Royal Horticultural Society, Timeless, Soy and the Reed Diffuser Bar.
Managing director Mike Armstead said: “The name change comes at a very exciting time for Wax Lyrical as the brand continues to grow, with new product development such as the Jelly Belly licensed range and the Reed Diffuser Bar exceeding all our sales expectations.
“Colony Homescents will remain a strong focus in our strategy and we will remain a manufacturer of a wide range of high quality home fragrancing products going forward.”
The company has also invested heavily in new product development and, last year, scooped the prize for best product innovation for its RHS range at the Waitrose Supplier Awards.
This year will see the launch of the new Equilibrium Spa Collection.
