POLICE are looking for sneak thieves who stole £1,000 cash and two necklaces worth £820 from a house on Finley Drive, Kendal.
The burglars entered the rear door of the house, which was unlocked, while the elderly inhabitants were still inside between Tuesday, March 16, and Thursday, March 18.
They made their way to the upstairs bedrooms and took the cash and jewellery. The necklaces are gold, around 18 inches long, and one of them is a heavy link chain.
Police have asked homeowners to be extra vigilant, and anybody with any information should call DC Kelly Hayton on 0845 33 00 247, or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
