SUPERB riding by Burton-in-Kendal's Glyn Ormerod has put him in with a good chance of lifting the New Era Superclub Championship.
After taking pole in practice then a first and second in the two races he said: "This is the best I've done all year. I feel I'm back on top form and my lap times are matching the British Superbike guys"
He is currently second in the championship standings and the results have edged him closer to leader Richard Norris.
In the first race he shot off the start line and increased the gap every lap, eventually winning by two seconds.
In the second Ormerod was second on the grid with Norris on pole. They stayed that way as Ormerod's planned pass on the last lap went awry.
