A PLEA has been made for weed killer not to be used again on grass verges on housing estates in South Lakeland.
Kendal town councillor Joanna Clarke asked for a letter to be written to the district council asking it not to use weed killer again, as it had caused the grass to die back, and looked an "absolute eyesore." The town council agreed with her proposal.
