New professional Mahendra Nagamootoo took 4-89 as Kendal picked up a valuable 12 point win over St Annes.
St Annes won the toss and opted to bat, scoring 232-6, with professional Ian Austion carrying his bat for 137.
Opener Craig Walmsley led the Netherfield reply, but was caught just three runs short of his century, the next five batsmen all made good contributions, however, particularly Nagamootoo with 49 and Kendal scored a winning 233-4 with 20 balls to spare.
A sparkling 111 from Oman Banks was the key to Carnforth's winning draw against Kendal.
The visitors scored 269 from their 50 overs and the score could have been higher had it not been for Chris Miller's 4-78 as Carnforth's middle order sought to make the most of Banks' century.
The total looked to be well within the comps of Kendal's strong batting line up, however, and with Ikram Ullah (60), Kevin Howarth (46), Terry Hunte (57) and Kabir Khan (58) adding over 200 fo9r the first four wickets victory should have been assured.
West Indian star Banks had other ideas, however, and his 5-67 and a middle order collapse left Kendla hanging on at 2621-5 at the end of their 50 overs.
