Opening batsman Ikram Ullah scored a fine 129 for Kendal on Saturday, but it was all to no avail as rain wiped out the entire Surridge Northern League programme.
Winning the toss Kendal opted to bat on their home wicket and scored 214-5 from 45 overs.
Blackpool faced just four balls before the weather intervened.
Playing at Preston Netherfield also opted to bat and made 247-7 before the rain arrived,
