PACK your wellies, dust off that tent and don your sunglasses because Kendal Calling is finally here.
Thousands of revellers will blaze a trail to Penrith this weekend (July 30-August 1) as the biggest party of the summer kicks off at Lowther Deer Park.
Anthemic Mancunian heores Doves, feelgood Merseyside quintet The Coral and electropop superstar Calvin Harris will headline.
Elsewhere a plethora of local talent that includes Mercury nominated Kendalians Wild Beasts, British Sea Power, Morecambe indie kids The Heartbreaks and Carlisle punks Birds vs Planes will fill the fields with music.
Throughout the weekend festivalgoers can take part in the Cumbrian Olympics, enjoy a pint at the on-site ale festival and let creativity take over during a fancy dress tea party to celebrate Kendal Calling’s fifth birthday.
The festival takes place at Lowther Deer Park, Hackthorpe, from Friday, July 30 - Sunday, August 1.
